picked my original account name "friday@ucscb.com" from the book of the same name by Robert A. Heinlein. She's a great character - she's genetically enhanced and trained as a James Bond spy-type. I love her strength and identify with her weaknesses, and when I was in high school a friend of mine read the book and told me that I was like her in many ways, so when I first sat down at a terminal it was the first thing that came to mind.

Eventually my account name of friday got too tied up with my old website, and I gave the address away to someone else and just picked my own name as an email address. Simple and easy to remember, if you can spell it. :)

Not to mention unique.
